Bruges, often called the “Venice of the North,” enchants visitors with its winding canals, medieval architecture, and timeless charm. Once a major trading hub in the Middle Ages, the city’s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Young travelers can explore Bruges’ past through the Historium, an interactive museum that recreates 15th-century life, including a Virtual Reality tour over lost landmarks. Highlights include the Belfry tower, Markt square, and a scenic boat ride through the canals. Bruges offers a unique blend of history and beauty—perfect for a day trip that’s both educational and visually inspiring.
